Susan Auger is a member of Bigstone Cree Nation, located in Alberta Treaty 8, but she was born and raised in Fort St John, BC.

She started her at Treaty 8 Tribal Association in December 2004 and has worked in a couple of different areas before taking the position of Executive Assistant. In May of 2008, she began her work as the Executive Assistant for the Coordinated Land Office (CLO). Her daily work includes providing assistance to the Executive team, the Tribal Chief and Vice-Chief and of course the T8TA Executive and staff. Her different duties include: coordinating meetings, arranging travel and accommodations, recording minutes for various meetings, etc. Susan enjoys her work and is very happy to be a part of the T8TA team.

Susan is passionate about her culture and helping First Nations reach their full potential. She is a board member of the Native Housing Society in Fort St John; as she believes affordable safe housing for children and families is a must. She is a board member of the Northeast Native Advancing Society as she believes in empowerment through education. She is also a founding member of the Spirit of the Peace Powwow Society.
