Liz Logan is a member of the Fort Nelson First Nation. Liz was educated in the health, business management, and administration fields. Having worked extensively in these areas for over 25 years, she returned to her community in 1998. She was elected to the Council of the Fort Nelson First Nation in December 1998 and served as Chief until 2005. Liz Logan is currently Deputy Chief of Treaty 8 with delegated authority, from the Council of Treaty 8 Chiefs, on matters related to negotiations with the Province of BC, the major pipelines proposed through Treaty 8 Territory, and meetings with senior government officials and industry representatives.
She serves as the political spokesperson and advisor to the Council of Treaty 8 Chiefs. She also currently serves as Chair of the Board for the Northeast Aboriginal Business Centre.
