Kieran Broderick has been the Treaty 8 Lands and Resources Director for the past seven years. He works on many of the forestry, oil and gas, mining and renewable energy projects currently underway in Treaty 8 territory. Kieran is also responsible for providing direction to the Treaty 8 GIS advisor, wildlife biologist, executive assistant and renewable energy specialist.

Kieran has a Bachelor of Natural Resource Science Degree and is a Registered Professional Forester (RPF). His fieldwork includes forestry research and fuel management, as well as habitat-related assessments and field trips with elders gathering Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK). Kieran enjoys working with Treaty 8 First Nation Chief and Councils, membership and staff in advancing the interests of Treaty 8 First Nations.

Apart from work, Kieran can be found playing ice and ball hockey, and enjoying the great outdoors with his wife, two daughters and yellow lab.
