Jeff Richert recently joined the Treaty 8 team in October 2011 and is the Environmental Coordinator working on the Proposed Site C Dam file. Jeff's primary role includes being the primary point of contact for the Treaty 8 communities and serving as the liaison between Treaty 8, government regulators and a variety of stakeholders during the EA process. Jeff has a Bachelor of Natural Resource Science Degree and is a Professional Biologist (P.Biol). His experience is derived from working within the forest and tourism industry as well as environmental consulting in the Peace region.

Apart from work, Jeff can be found haunting the local rivers and lakes with his fly rod as well as playing ice hockey and curling in the winter months.
