Overview of Project
Enbridge Northern Gateway project proposes to construct and operate two pipelines carrying oil and condensate, 10 pump stations and a marine terminal. The pipe would be buried to a depth of one metre in a 25-metre right-of-way between Edmonton, Alberta and Kitimat, British Columbia. The proposed project will travel through the southern area of Treaty 8 territory from the BC-Alberta border south of Tumbler Ridge to Bear Lake along an existing right-of-way. The proposed pipeline is proposed for construction in mid-2012 and commencing in 2015.Enbridge Northern Gateway Documents
