Advisory Services
Treaty 8 Tribal Association serves to assist member First Nations to create economic self-sufficiency in areas of community interest. Services include grant research and preparation, employment and training initiatives, community, land and resource development, and Treaty 8 Development Corporation strategic support.
- Identify economic development and funding opportunities
- Facilitate proposal writing
- Provide research in areas of interest
- Support community economic development officers (EDO) as needed
- Coordinate training and capacity development
- Coordinate regular EDO meetings
- Propose cooperation and synergies among communities in areas of mutual interest
- Maintain contact with relevant First Nation and local business organizations
